Bethel Music
Bethel Music
From 2009 to 2013, Bethel Music rapidly grew from being a relatively small local church music ministry to becoming a fully-fledged record label and publishing company, featuring songwriters and worship leaders based out of Bethel Church in Redding, California.[1]
In January 2015, Bethel Music launched their Artist Collective, expanding their group of locally based artists to include North Carolinians Josh Baldwin and Jonathan and Melissa Helser.[2] Later that year, in May, they included Cory Asbury, formerly of the International House of Prayer.[3] In September 2015, it was announced that Leeland would also be joining the Collective.[4] On November 2, 2016, Bethel Music issued a press release announcing that they and longtime member William Matthews had agreed that William would no longer be a part of the Bethel Music Collective.[5][6] Just days later, it was announced that Sean Feucht would officially join the artist collective of Bethel Church.[citation needed]
Eddie James, blessed with musical gifts and talents, entered ministry at an early age. He was fueled by a burden placed on his heart to minister to the hurting and lost.
God quickly established Eddie James as a leader of music and ministry with some of his original work topping the charts. Over the years, Eddie has recorded multiple albums, collaborated with numerous artists (e.g. Helen Baylor, Mississippi Mass Choir, Mark Condon, & Karen Wheaton), and toured most of North America, Europe, and Asia.
Eddie James and Eddie James Ministries has also been featured by numerous leaders and entertainment personalities on their media platforms (e.g. Bishop TD Jakes, Sid Roth, Perry Stone, Jamie & Judy Jacobs Tuttle, Glenn Walters, Tommy Barnett, Marilyn Hickey, along with 4-Him, Kirk Franklin, Plus One, Third Day, P-Diddy, Stevie Wonder, Brian McKnight, Usher, and Kelly Prince — to name just a few!).
Since Eddie James Ministries was birthed in 1993, Eddie has also established several choral
and performing arts groups geared at inspiring a new generation of witnesses for the Gospel. Dealing
with contemporary themes like drugs, violence, sex, racism, and dysfunction, hundreds of thousands
of young people have been impacted by the constant message of hope.
Eddie James has also birthed several other ministries through the same vision God has given him.
DreamLife Center is an addiction recovery program geared toward helping young people seeking the redemptive power of
God’s love and the healing presence of the Savior.
Currently operating in two states, the organization has plans to expand its footprint to bring healing to hundreds more in the coming years.
Fresh Wine Records and its contemporary Fresh Wine Publishing have been the engine behind
Eddie’s most recent works, including those of his group
Ultimate Call, as well as, the machine creating resources for music ministries across the globe.
Eddie’s vision is not only a source of valuable content but inspires and raises up other artists across the world to enter into
Kingdom work
. His most recent endeavor is a training institution for worship and ministry called
The SHIFT MOVEMENT.
Eddie is prayerfully taking what will be the first steps to an establishment where
young men and women can enroll to find anointed training, as well as, the theological and practical
guidance needed to prepare the next generation of powerful ministers of the Gospel.
